K.Letshaana will be convinced that this year is when she makes her long awaited breakthrough after the country's top women's singles shuttler reached the Indonesia Masters quarter-finals on Thursday.
The Malaysian sealed an impressive 21-14, 21-14 victory over Canada's Michelle Li to reach the last eight in her first tournament of the year.

Beating Li so convincingly will give the 22-year-old a massive confidence boost, especially taking into account her opponent's much superior world ranking at 12.
Letshaana lies 30 rungs below her, but on back of this display, her performance suggested that ranking number should be reversed.
Letshaana was down on her knees in celebration after securing the final point with a brilliant cross-court finish, having just dived full stretch to defend an earlier attack from the Canadian.
The Malaysian will next face Chinese Taipei's Huang Yu-hsun in the quarter-finals, and if she can produce the same tenacity and confidence, we could witness a women's singles representative in this Super 500 semi-finals.
Other results saw top women's doubles pair Pearly Tan-M.Thinaah and reigning mixed doubles champions Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei also progress to Friday's action at the famous Istora Senayan venue.
