All-England: Aaron-Wooi Yik not dwelling on past records ahead of epic final

National men's doubles pair Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik are aware of the task at hand if they are to finally capture the All-England crown, which is to beat South Korea's Seo Seung Jae-Kim Won-ho.

The Malaysians set-up a dream final after turning in a virtuoso performance to beat Chinese pair Chen Bo Yang-Liu Yi 21-11, 21-19 in Sunday's early morning match.

The victory has propelled them to a third final at the All-England, against the most formidable pair in the world.

Chia-Soh are choosing to put aside the past record which has seen them lose twice in the final against Indonesian opponents.

"We do not want to think too much about the past, rather just focus on the final. The results will come when we just focus on getting the points," they said.

Against Chen-Liu, the world number two pair showed immense character in the second game to overturn a 13-18 deficit to finish the game in straight games.
They were completely dominant to claim the opening game.

Kim-Seo were equally clinical in their 21-19, 21-13 victory over Indonesian pair Raymond Indra-Joaquin Nicklaus.

Chia-Soh have beaten Seo-Kim once in three meetings, when they overcame the world number one pair to claim last year's Singapore Open title.

Both pairs also met at the Malaysia Open final this year, with Kim-Seo emerging victorious in three close games.
