The world number two pair suffered a 21-18, 12-21, 19-21 defeat against world number one and defending champions Seo Seung-jae-Kim Won-ho.
Defeat is cruel on Chia-Soh, who have now lost for the third time in this prestigious Super 1000 event.
The Malaysians came within a whisker of ending a 19-year drought for an All-England men's doubles title since Koo Kien Kiat-Tan Boon Heong won back in 2007.
This loss also means this national pair have lost in a Super 1000 final for the eighth time.
Chia-Soh started strongly and took the lead after a sensational attacking start where they led throughout.
The Malaysians looked poised to win at 16-11, but the South Koreans battled back to 17-17 and it called for composure from Chia-Soh.
They did just that, and took a deserved advantage when Chia's sharp smash finally ended a resolute defence from their opponents.
But Seo-Kim ensured there would be a deciding game as the defending champions stormed back to win the second game 21-12.
Chia-Soh then returned fired-up to take a 12-7 lead in the third game, and looked to finally end their All-England final vodoo.
But as fate would have it, Seo-Kim showed their mettle as champions by dominating the final 11-points to complete the comeback and retain their crown.
