Peminat Harimau Malaya yang tular di Qatar, Derrick Gan tampil membuat satu 'posting' di laman Facebooknya dengan meluahkan rasa kecewa terhadap beberapa pandangan yang dilontarkan oleh netizen.

"Did I ever mention that I'm orang susah?

"Did I asked the cameraman to shoot me?

"Did I even ask for the motorcycle that has been given to me?

"Who would think that I would have gone viral? Some people wanted to go popular/viral so hard and yet failed but you think if I ever tried I can become one?

"Say whatever you want, but do not put the words in my mouth, things that did not come out from my mouth are all conspiracy, I did not say what I didn't say.

"But of course these are all the consequences that comes together with when you're in 'the center of attention' I accept whatever is said to me be it positive or negative", kata Derrick Gan di laman Facebooknya.




Derrick turut membuat satu pengumuman kepada semua sekiranya ada yang ingin berkolaborasi ataupun tumpang 'glamour', bolehlah menghubunginya secara 'private'.

"And so here am I ready to make my announcement, to whoever that wants to sail with me, catch the tide of my viral wave, tumpang glamour, you can, PM me and we can talk about it, BUT only in a form of giving it back to the public, like you can do a contest or giveaways of your product or things that you wanna give, take this opportunity not to just promote your brand, your company, but also to help out others who needed it the most, we can definitely help out others that needed it more than me, untuk yang lagi memerlukan daripada saya."

Derrick turut menyatakan bahawa Capo Lekir sepatutnya mendapat kredit lebih daripadanya, iaitu individu yang menjadi tulang belakang Ultras Malaya, CC, DL dan semua Komrads.

" I only chose to sell because my love for Malaysia is always number one, I did not ask for anything in return", tambah Derrick.

Derrick menjadi tular selepas reaksinya yang menambat hati ramai peminat sukan tanah air ketika Arif Aiman menjaringkan gol untuk Malaysia mendahului Korea Selatan 2-1. 

Perlawanan itu kemudian berkesudahan seri 3-3 sekaligus menyaksikan anak buah Kim Pan Gon pulang ke Malaysia dengan satu mata.
